Academy in burleson never has anything fishing wise I need they sell it but they are always out . It drives me insane and I blame you guys circle hooks and what not ,all you guys buy it all before I can get there . Jerks lol Got me some stuff to run a Trotline and when I don't catch nothin I'm going to blame it on academy cuz none of the things I bought are what I ever use . And there were ZERO circle hooks . Rant over

I am in Greenville area and our new one is fair at best unless you want clothing items then they got them, recently went down south and the Academy at Brazonport Mall in Freeport was the best I ever went in they really were stocked well and cheaper. Galveston also good.

Victoria isnt much better. I order on line and have it in a few days.
My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.

I always grab one of the employees and Am like what's goin on here man and always get the well we get the shipments every Monday and Thursday ... Not really a big deal I guess just wondered if it happened elsewhere kind of

Yep, happens everywhere, they tell you about the delivery truck schedule but FAIL to tell you they are NOT ordering any of your items anytime soon...

You can get everything online at catfish connection and bottom dwellers. Get your sinkers at M T pockets. Academy is a huge waste of time for bluecat tackle!

Academy has gotten pretty worthless for fishing but if you you wanna buy a gun or ammo it's like an entirely different store Except the clerks don't know a .22 from a .45

Find what you want online at another store and have them transfer it for free.... We do it all the time at the Ft. Smith store...
If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....

Never understood why they will be out of stock of basic items at the beginning of a fishing season. Half the the spaces were empty in the Crappie section in mid March. They have a very poor inventory control system. Tractor Supply is much the same. I guess it works for them as they keep building at new locations. I buy more and more online as it is too frustrating to go to the brick and Mortar only to find them out.
