I suggest you go see a dermatologist and explain the symptoms.
I had something similar and a prescription for 5% permethrin cream solved it for me. 2 applications 7 days apart did the trick.

Have you been wading around in the water? Might be some type of Hydroid. Have had them myself and wear waders on all but the warmest days now when in kayak.
