Go into the medical field, like I stated earlier. There are tons of different fields in medicine besides being a Dr. or nurse that pay well and will afford you to immediately find a job no matter where you go. I have many friends with business and finance degrees, and a few with criminal justice degrees. They all have struggled getting jobs out of school, especially jobs in their related field of study. For example my best friend with a 4yr. criminal justice degree finally was able to get a job as a manager at Target. He did start off as a corrections officer but had to switch directions because as a corrections officer he wasn't able to financially make ends meet. He had to take a second part-time job while working corrections and finally gave up and now makes as much managing the Target (which isn't much and has a HORRIBLE schedule) as he did working corrections and another part-time job, at least it's only 1 job now.

Such as an attorney, CPA, engineer, medical doctor or really anything in the medical field. Those specialized fields will pay you an income that you can actually raise a family off of and not be in constant debt. Also rather than wasting money on new vehicles every couple of years buy assests that appreciate and bring you an income such as a rent house. Then someday you have an income that pays you while you are actually out fishing. Also only listen to peoples opinions who are actually successful in life. The only good thing I recall about college is the girls...oh man the girls...but I got one of those usless degrees that society just does not need. Then afer working a career for a few years and hoping to get a 3% raise every year I discovered real estate and now I make money while I am fishing, sleeping, on vacation, or whatever else I do. What it boils down to is if you follow the crowd and just go to college and get a 4 year degree then you are likely to be like the crowd and go to a job you hate everyday while your personal debt out paces your raises every year.

Not Engineer. Unless you're Indian.

Move to Hollywood, become the proctologist to the stars. Hey, they're just like opinions: Everybody's got one, and they think everybody else's stinks...

Randy don't let em get to you. Do what you feel you must. Success in doing something you don't want is hollow but failure in what you enjoy teaches you something about yourself.

Life is about fulfillment of dreams.

Surely this is a Troll. eeks

Otherwise, I'm going to petition the legislature to pass some sort of law requiring a competency in English grammer and spelling test before owning and operating a computer on line.

There is no cure for, nor any law against, stupid; however, if one is an American (U.S.) citizen and enjoy the benefits; e.g., welfare thereof, one should have some proficiency with the language.

You need to take a chill pill and do some growing up yourself, sounds like you are disturbed with a control problem and I bet you don't have many friends. You know the young man is only 17 and a full time student. Thats right MOMMY and DADDY are devoriced and both parents have very good jobs and it was his choice to go to work.

Enjoy being 17 and chasing fish. I miss those days although my job does give me some time to fish.

Now my son is 17 and has one year left at Lamar High School. It's gone too fast.

Only one rule in life: FIRST CHASE FISH....THEN CHASE WOMEN...
