Just a heads up DO NOT pull your boat up on the ramp at the east side ramp. Not sure what has happened to it but it will cost you a trip to the fiberglass shop. Frankly I would stay away from it.

What does that mean? Is there something under the water, or what?

There has to be something or they dropped a big concrete block off the end or something. We just pulled up on the ramp like we've done a 1,000 times and it wasn't pretty on the hull. Don't know if it was rocks or concrete but it wasn't pretty. Went up the center of the ramp and half way up the boat started to turn to the side. The damage looked to be more then just a couple of rocks.

I talked to Russell yesterday he did not mention he did some damage to his boat. That sucks

There are too many other good ramps on Ray Hubbard, to use the one at Dalrock. You're not the first person I have heard say this.

Well at least the truck and trailer were still there when you got back. Always risking that if you use that ramp.

Well the bad part was I met him for an hour and that's where he picked back me up from. We haven't launched there in years.

How is the Rockwall Ramp on 66 or Paul Jones park? I've been thinking about going over to Hubbard but haven't fished much there before and not sure what I might get into.

Both ramps are fine but know that there are a plethora of stumps by Jones ramp. Water should be high enough now to not worry about it but to err on the side of caution is always a wise decision.
