I have a leak in the bait well piping of my Triton LTS. I had a reputable shop look at it and they said they couldn't physically get to the piping to fix it. They said that I would need someone to basically cut the bait well out of the rear deck, fix the piping and then put it back. Of course, the shop didn't want to mess with doing all that work. Any ideas on who could do this? For the past year, I've just been using my live well as a bait well and can continue doing that. I just hate it when there is something that cant be fixed.

Depending on how big the leak is it may not be worth the effort to fix. I use a hose off my front livewell to run my bait tank and 2 years ago the housing on the pump was leaking. Fairly easy to fix so I did. I still have a leak that is there all the time but much worse when running pump a lot. All I have to do is pull batteries and tray while on the water to locate it. I have just lived with because when I am on the water I do not want to take time out from fishing. I just run the bilge pump now and then.

Blue cats puking zebra mussels have ruined many pumps, pump housings and diverter valves.
If a well is leaking the first place I would look at is the pumps and pump housings.
Been there done that.

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!
