Engine warm. Check with plugs in. Kill Switch Pulled to prevent srarting!!!!Throttle in Wide Open Position. Check each cylinder.

I had an 82 johnson 175, all cyls ran about 115 (one was 116)

I'm having my Merc 225 rebuilt because I hade 4 holes at 90 and 2 at 88 psi. They will run, just not very well. You lose a lot of torque when compression is low
