Fishing report: It was pretty much dead today. Shad came out in force, and they were too full to bite.
Wind from the north, fisherman does not go forth.
Wind from the south, blows the bait in the fish's mouth.
Wind from the east, the fish bite least.
Wind from the west, the fish bite best..

warden was checking hybrids some guys caught at the truck. some looked close to 18

You guys think the sandbass already move to the lake ? I did pretty good after the rain last time ,but this time there only few biting.

I fished lewiisville yesterday and it is full of sandies What is the best time fish for sandbass? Is it the exit swisher ? I have not been in this lake before. Would like to check it out. Thanks

I saw 1000000 shad this morning and no fish but gars.. didn't see anyone else catch anything except one guy almost caught a snake bite. He freaked when I yelled snake and it was less than a ft next to him lol

Hi Everyone,
I am in town for another week or so in the irving area... I've been wanting to catch atleast 1 fresh water fishing other than a catfish lol before I head back to Mississippi. CAn anyone please PM me a spot to hit a crappie or a bass?? Just looking for atleast 1 fish haha Anyone recommendations on lures and spot would be extremely helpful... I've tried Jefferson park 2x with no luck and California crossing with no luck. X_X
