My Pro-Rule has cracked down the middle. NO one I have talked to has ever seen this before. IT came with the boat, but i can't find any warranty info on the Pro-RUle website. ANone know?
I like the easy installation, and it secures well!

Where are all these boats sitting around dealers waiting for repairs because of the old school transom savers? And with todays internet, where are all the posts from guys complaining about this damage?

Many issues with the new "wedge" style transom savers and Yamaha 03 - 06 225 and 250's. It causes the bushings in the motor mount to wear excessively and will cause your motor to have slop in it. With the motor trimmed down you can push forward and pull back on it and feel slop, or in reverse the motor kind of "hops" a little or make a clicking sound in rough water each time it moves back and forth. The mounts and bushings are a horrible design by Yamaha to begin with, but the wedge style savers will make them wear out much faster. Once mine is fixed I'm going back to the old style transom saver and chunking the wedge style.

I like the easy installation, and it secures well! I guarantee you that Prorule will take care of it if you call over there and talk to them. They are great people.

Yup, my LnH has been on two boats now since 2009. Only issue was when idiot dealer put it on wrong when I had engine serviced. Should have checked before I left. Messed up the end caps. I called LnH and the sent me some new ones. LNH is made in Weatherford so I keep my $$ in Texas and it works great.

In November I bought a new skeeter with a 250 SHO that came with the wedge. I would like to think if they were having this problem 14 years ago it would be re-designed and fixed by now but would like to know for sure.

Used them all and the lock n haul gets my vote...
Pro Rule has come with the last couple Skeeters. Not a bad product but I don't like carrying the motor clips too... Lock n haul is just too easy and very stable.
