I have off Friday and would like to find a lake within 100 miles east of Dallas that has some good grass to fish. Thanks for any suggestions.

There are some areas of Fork that are covered in grass....even some that were matted on the surface prior to these rains.

Welsh has a ton as well. Head up North with a frog and fluke and should have a blast.

Monti has a ton of grass but I am not fishing there this weekend....the lake came up 18" then was dropped 2' all in 48 hours earlier this week. I can only image what it looks like and the mood the fish are in. No thanks!
