Be watchful of thieves in Canyon Lake area.
Last week someone broke into my boat under the carport in my driveway,
they stole all my tungsten probably 20 packs of different sizes,
all my Jigs a box full, and took 2 reels off the rods in rod boxes.
Dang Thieves!!

They stole just the reels?!?!?
Wonder why they took that kind of time? Rods wouldn't fit in the car they just stole.

If more and more home owners gunned downed thieves when they have the chance, robberies would slow way down. There is just nothing to deter them right now. Courts give them a slap on the wrist and they are back at it next day or two in most cases.

May not be worth as much as your fishing rods....but they belonged to the man not the thieves...give me a break! Sorry for your loss, I hate thieves and smart mouths with no concern for others.

They got my sister and her husband a few weeks ago also. Stole all of his fishing gear on the front porch which was hidden from the road.(north side of lake)

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

When I was fishing Canyon yesterday a guy I spoke with mentioned his friend had purchased a few Iocanalli rods from someone on the side of the road in Starksville for $20 a piece. He said the guy told his friend he purchased them in an auction. Don't know if it's connected to the thefts or not but it sounded suspicious at the time.

Yea it sucks, I am surprised they didn't take the rods, they were carbonlite reels.
They weren't my good ones but they were good quality rods.
I'm more upset over the tungsten and the jigs.
I think I'm going rig up a shocker on the boat, of course I would forget
to turn it off and shock myself. lol
