Has anyone pulled the carpet out of their boats and put in Seadek? if so how expensive was it, how do you like it?

$25 a sqr ft. , you send em patterns and you install it yourself , and a 2 yr warranty
come see us .... $15 a sqr foot , we install it , lifetime warranty . pressure wash it off and non slip . cushion ? its rubber granuales and 1/4 inch thick

You'd never choose anything else after you've been on a safe floor installed boat.

This is what I'll use next time carpet wears out.

I have seadek in two boats and love it. Going on 3 years and no issue whatsoever. (much less weight than safe floor as well if you have a high performance boat)

very nice boat for sure and im sure seadek is alot lighter since its a foam base . love the colors ya got

How hot does the floor get in the summer sun compared to carpet?

The ones I've stood on were way cooler than carpet one was light grey and one was tan. And it was hot summer sun.
Carpet just doesn't belong on a fishing boat. There is not one good reason to have it other than it hides defects on a hull.

I fish barefoot in mine all the time in the hot summer on the Gulf Coast and it never gets hot. Padded as well, so much more comfortable on your back and legs.
