It was really tough out there with the 30 mph gusts. I want to send a special thanks to the guys that helped Jim and I to place in the top 10. First is Brad Williams, a Lake Fork guide (don't know his TFF name), who I called and talked to a few days prior to the event. He informed us to go to the Garrett creek area and fish the murky water. Perfect, that's all we fish here on Lake Houston (the mud hole). We caught many fish in the 2 lb. range prior to the tourney around the high lines. Unlike the crickets from all the jokesters here on the site (except for the 2 PMs), Brad was a stand up guy for even getting us close to the area. (sorry for beating you guys out by .09 lbs.) Also thanks to Olhipi for the use of his Lake Master chip and JW202 for his Lake Fork Hot Spots map (we never made it to the marked holes he had on it due to the scary wind). Brad's my choice for any guided trip to Lake Fork. BTW BW, that 2.27 lb. fish came from the pier with the chimney sticking out the roof at 3:15 pm. Thanks again guys!!!!
