 What is a cull clip used for?

Never used one but all the pros use it when storing fish in livewell. Is it just used to keep track of which fish is which?
Is it just for tournaments?

yes, and it makes getting them out of the live-well 1,000 times easier when you need to weigh your sack

yes, and it makes getting them out of the live-well 1,000 times easier when you need to weigh your sack Ahhhh , i need those then ive had some pretty ticked off bass in my livewell lately

Does it damage the fish's mouth? nah...I always make sure and use the giant hole I just make with my trokar hook.

Does it damage the fish's mouth? There is a right way to make the hole and a wrong way. If you just puncture anywhere then yes, a hole will form, but if you pierce right where the boney part is under the lip in the very center a larger hole will not form. There are some videos on it on the www
