 Return to the Pecos - Part Two

Many of you know the story of Bert and Dan Rodriguez's unfortunate flash flood incident on the Lower Pecos River back in 2014. For those that don't, they got trapped by flash floods halfway through the 60-mile trip, forcing them to abandon their kayaks and gear and evacuate via helicopter. Last year, Bert and Dan returned to the Pecos to finish what they started, and they invited me along to document the trip. That is crazy. Really enjoyed it!! That storm was intense for sure. Glad you liked it bud! We had a deer lease outside Iraan about 10 yrs ago on the Pecos. I witnessed one of the most intense lighting storms ever out there. Similar to what you filmed.
