I am taking off next week. Plan to spend a few days at Rayburn to work on the lake house, maybe fish in the mornings some. May head north, would like to fish a day or two on Texoma. Havent been there since I was a kid, would like to go back. I also need to run across the river and put flowers on my mothers grave in Southern Oklahoma.

I haven't been on or around Texoma for many years. I'd like to find a nice place to stay not to far from Denison. I may look at property, thinking about moving to North Texas if I can convince my wife which might be hard to do.

I googled a few places and may call a couple tomorrow but figured some of you guys might have some info on places my picky wife would like.

Thanks Billy

Thanks, Billy

Flowing wells was really nice, not sure how the flood affected them though.

We usually go to VRBO and rent a house. Sometimes they are a better deal than the lodging around the lake.

All of the marinas and resorts that I've been to are in good shape.

I'm so far removed from North Texas living in Houston, I really do not know the area. Looks like quite a few places to stay. I will make some calls, thanks for the input guys.

Thanks, Billy

I stayed at Little Mineral and it was fine. I'll go back if we head back up there

Depending on where you are crossing into Oklahoma to go visit your Mother's grave sight, if you are using HWY 377 then Big Mineral, Cedar Mills, on the Texas side are good, Buncomb creek on the Okie side, if you are going to use HWY 75 to go to Oklahoma you have Little Mineral, Light House Marina, Tanglewood that are all good on the Texas side, good luck to you sir.

Texoma Cabin

Know the guy who owns this place. He coaches across town from me, good guy. He may have a couple other ones as well, just can't find them at the moment.

Look up JD Lyle. He is a striper guide that owns some cabins he rents out. I don't have his number at this moment but will look when I get home and edit my post.
