I have the time of day set up on my GPS unit and untill this year it has always been correct. Now it is 1 hour behind, it is as though the unit has not recognized daylight saving time, it has in years past. Is anyone else having the same problem?

they changed the date daylight savings time went into affect this year. Many electronics are screwed up without an update. Its possible you can get a software update from inet. Otherwise it'll adjust on old daylight savings date.

Check with your manufactor of the GPS unit. They should have an update.

Well then, won't it change itself day after tomorrow (March 31st)?

I'm just wondering..really..not trying to be argumentative... Why are you concerned about the time on your GPS? Not trying to be a smart arse either. I've just been trying to figure out why I even need that function. I may be missing something that my GPS is useful and not even know it.

It comes in handy when you forget your watch. You should be able to manually adjust it until you get the sofware patch to automatically change it.

Jeff, I am retired but my wife is not and she gets home about 5:30 each afternoon. Now do you understand why I like the time on mt GPS? Seriouly I try to make myself fish on a timetable. If I am fishing new water, I don't like to waste a lot of time if I am not finding fish and for me I can spend way to much time in an area even when it is not producing.
