My two friends and I are looking for a river to spend around 3 days 2 nights kayaking and camping on, we have moderate experience with rapids so that won't really be a problem. We were originally looking at the Devils because we all have an itch for some smallmouth but decided against it due to all the permits you need to have. So my question is there a river that we can catch decent smallies and lmb in that matches this description? We are not opposed to going to Oklahoma or even Arkansas thanks!

Check out the Ouachita river in Arkansas. It holds smallies and other fun fish. Lots of take launch points above the lake.
