Been catching them shallow for weeks now.

I went shallow on Gvine yesterday evening and my son Luke caught one nice eater blue before the sky opened up and it started pouring on us.

I've had best luck posting up in about 4-5' of water.
many fish coming "away" from the bank in deeper water still.
YMMV

Caught a nice limit at my brother's place on Lake Kiowa Saturday in 3-4 fow at 2 Ft under slip cork on my homemade Catfish Cocaine. Nice size eater channels to 2 to 4 lbs. Never had catfish jump like these did.
Had one 3 lb fish make four big jumps completely out of the water. We fished off the concrete wall next to his boat house. I'm about to hit GV again and get serious now that my boat motor is fixed.
