Side Note: Looks like two different fish to me. The top being a Flathead and the other a Blue. Just my two cents. Lol if they are different, they are still both blues

G Love you shouldn't be skeptical of location I been fishing Eagle Mountain for years.
I used to guide on this lake part time and there are plenty of big blues there.

Nice fish. Not my thing to kill big breeders like that. I've fished that lake a time or two myself. Lots of jug lines and trot lines littering the waters now.
What guide service did you do on the lake?

Well I think many folks do fish for food. I clean a good number of fish each year. I will tell you that the large ones do in fact taste very good. I will also tell you that I don't catch many large ones. I did clean a 31 pound flathead and it was great.
