Not sure how much it rained here at the lake but it was a good amount, I just went to the ranch in Valera and had four inches in the gauge so maybe elm will start flowing. I didnt see Jerry yesterday at the store so maybe he will pop in sometime today.

Glad you Ivie boys got some good rain! I see that Del Rio caught around 5-6 inches. Anyone know exactly how much Amistad caught?
Only getting around an inch here in San Antonio.

It get a little something every year up the river, this year seems worse than others. I don't know if it GA or not but I as well as many other have seen dead fish up there but it seemed worse in January and February.

Can't speak for Ivie but was in DelRio. Up to 5 inches in Del Rio and slightly East. Not much west on watershed. Creeks up in Mexico not even a trickle. Lake actually dropping 3 inches a day over last few days. As far as Choke. Not much hope there either Frio and Nueces hardly even had a flow.

Just checked all the stream flows for Ivie. Between Elm Creek, The Colorado and Concho they are flowing a combined total of 238 cubic feet per second. About enough to fill a swimming pool.

I heard from a buddy that Ivie might have some golden algae? Anyone noticed this? Fished Ivie Saturday. I personally did not see a single floater and the water I fished looked okay (I am not an expert on GA though). Talked to a guy at the ramp who told me he saw Carp, Cats and Crappie floating up in the main lake coves. I am a little concerned about an area on Spence with GA. Main lake looks great, but the area back by the Big Spring pump is reddish/copper color with a few carp and cats floating.

The back of the pockets where it warms up the quickest is where the LEAST number of fish die. Thats why on GA lakes you actually lose less bass than anything because they will go back in the pockets. It will put the ever loving smack down on whites and striper though

It will put the ever loving smack down on whites and striper though It was 66-67 where I was fishing and I stayed around Padgitt all day. Again I didn't see a dead fish one, just something I was told at the ramp. He indicated he felt they had been blown into the pockets and up on the banks. He said between the dam and Kennedy, I did not drive up and confirm his story.
