Looking for any info on this lake. Intrested in striper, paddlefish and cats. Its very diffrent than the lakes around here.

1st of may you need to be sitting at the mouth of the river with cut or whole shad on the bottom. Itll be shallow but the cats will be starting to head upriver. I only know that because we did a guided trip for catfish on that lake and we filled up a boat on may 1st right there.

Mouth of the river and the upper and lower river are good for catfish. The upper river is good for spoonbill. Belotgedam is excellent striper fishing. If using a boat be VERY careful have people I know that have drowned se the boa got sucked up into the floodgate area Down river is really good striper fishing. PM me and we can chat about specifics.
