Do you transfer them in the tackle box? Or keep them in their bags to retain their scent and moisture? For me they are too bulky when kept in bags and don't have the room to haul them.
How come I keep catching small fish when every product I buy is supposed to catch more and bigger fish?

I used to keep them all in their original bags and then put them in plastic bins like that. But I felt like I wasn't organized enough and never knew what I had so I switched to sorting them into gallon sized ziploc bags. Seems so much faster for me to find exactly what I am looking for.

I keep mine in original bags and store them in plastic bins in a storage compartment on the boat.

H20 bag from Academy, like a ring binder with ziplock bags. Don't have a ton of room on the yak. Keep them in the original bags.

Do you guys think it's OK to put them in those tackle box bins or will they lose their scent and therefore their "edge" that way?

kept them in plastic boxes but they would dry out

any new ones stay in the bag

Original package in gallon ziplock bags by tips of soft plastics. This, but I like 2 gallon bags better.

A tip many of you likely know where you can leave your worms in their original packaging:
Use scissors to snip off the bottom corner.
How big a snip depends on the size of the plastics but 1/2" up on each side should do it.
You do this on the bottom corner where the heads of the plastics are facing . . . they'll shake out easier head first.
Many pros and guides do this and the action looks like someone banging a pack of cigarettes against the palm of the hand to dislodge a smoke. You pinch the other bottom edge and slap the package against your open palm. Once you pop the bag with the open corner a few times like that, as soon as one of the plastics can be grabbed, you pull it out.
You can then roll that open corner up and put a clip on it to keep any juices inside the bag.

I use these worm binders marketed by Bass Pro. Best thing I've ever found....

I start with organized shoe box sized plastic tubs and end up with Academy bags in various compartments

Fought this battle for 30 years. Finally just went to Wal Mart and bought 12-15 mesh lingerie bags and labeled them with Duct Tape and Sharpie. (Tubes, Lizards, Finesse, Brush Hogs, etc) Threw them all in my forward storage and that's where they stay. I think I have about 13-14 bags and one labeled ETC for whatever does not fall into a certain category. I can usually lift the lid and find the bag I want pretty quickly.
1 bag will hold a LOT of plastics. I have had them for 3 years now and they are quite durable as well. Only one broken zipper in three years. It's the best system for me.
Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.
