Need some Help...

Option 1: Lowrance Hook-7 Mid/High/Downscan Fishfinder/Chartplotter with Insight Pro for 399.99

or

Option 2: Humminbird Helix 7 Sonar GPS Fishfinder 399.99

This is going on the front of my boat. I have a Humminbird 999 SI on the console. Since I fish a lot of brush for crappie I am not concerned with linking the 2 units to share waypoints as I want the front waypoint I set to be pin point instead of going off of the back transducers waypoint mark.

Which of the 2 Units is better for the front of the boat? Also is it important to have DI on the front of the boat?
