Any color will work if it is chartreuse +1 Chartreuse 90% of the time otherwise it's baby bass

Sexy shad, and believe it or not.... H20 Xpress makes a black and gold that I've thrown in just about everywhere and caught some.

chartreuse was my go to color then I found an even better one. Lucky craft's RT in American Shad.

it completely depends on water color......sexy shad has always produced for me in water w 2ft + visibility.......but i would throw a different pattern in stained water.....on rayburn and toledo bend, especially in the spring, any craw/red pattern will out fish any classic shad pattern..... but once the shad spawn starts, the shad patterns are hard to beat.
