Not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm looking for recommendations for Senko colors. I fish the upper Guadalupe and the lower Colorado in Austin mostly.

Any suggestions would be much obliged.

Thanks

Anything Green Pumpkin or Watermelon works there (magic, red flake, etc.). I don't throw the Richard Simmons colors.

Agree with the watermelon or green pumpkin based colors normally. Add a purple based color for shady areas, and Chartreuse based for when they are really feeding!

I don't post on here much, because I feel like I don't usually have much to add to conversations going on between guys who've been fishing for 30 or 40 years, but I can tell you that I've caught a lot of fish on Green Pumpkin w/ Purple Flake...in all different kinds of weather, in all different kinds of water, at all different times of year.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. --John Buchan

I think smoke/hologram is the best clear water color.

My best colors are watermelon with a chartreus tail when it's cloudy and baby bass when the sun is out. There are times when pumpkin seed works well too.
