Yep. After much research I settled on these. The Kumhos are very good as well.

I've had a 22' Skeeter CC on a dual axle for 2 1/2 years. The far majority of my boat use is at alan Henry 5 miles from the storage unit. Usually make 6 or so trips a year to other lakes. In those few trips I have had 5 blowouts. Because Im scared to go 5 miles down the road without a spare and am often away from home, I've just bought whatever tire was available when i could get them.
4/5 blowouts were the original Goodyear Marathons.
Had the latest blowout in Breckenridge this past weekend.
I now have 2 Commodores, 1 Marathon, and 1 each of other tires. The OCD in me is killimg.me having 4 different brands but all are nearly brand new.
Glad to see this thread pop up.
Sounds lime i need to look into the Kimhos or the Carlisles.

I just use the Marathons because there aren't many convenient trailer tire options where I live. I've actually never had a Marathon blow; I seem to run the tread off of them in about 3 to 4 years then replace them. In fact, two years ago I had one run down to exposed metal by mistake and it still didn't blow. My apparent luck with Marathons probably has a lot to do with having dual axles under a relatively light boat (newer 19 ft basscat), I don't drive over 70 while towing, I'm pretty anal about maintaining 50 psi in each tire, and I usually rotate the tires after each season.

carlisle @ 65 psi, just had these installed today yup... +1 However now that I have had a chance to research I would have ordered some Maxxis M8008 from discount tire. They had the Carlisle in stock when i needed tires.
