They're a great way to pack in that morning protein. We used to have a Shoney's in Waco until it turned into something else I can't remember. I figured there would be some place in north Texas since DFW has everything.

I can buy a vehicle from a vending machine but I can't glutton 3 and a half pounds of bacon in one sitting... C'mon. It's like we don't even live in America anymore.

Grandy's and Golden Corral don't count. Everything there tastes like salmon.

You can go to a Hilton Garden Inn or a Courtyard and pay for one. Don't have to be a guest.

Retirement best job ever.

That's what I was going to say, probably hit up a hotel.

Not a fan of breakfast buffets unless they have a made to order omelet bar, which most don't. Don't want my eggs, bacon, biscuits, etc. sitting over Sterno flames.

Family is everything!

Life is precious. We don’t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

The last couple places I stayed at that had them, even proper places like doubletree, wyndam, etc were awful. Prepackaged heat and eat kind of stuff. Buffets, ayce type deals typically suck.

I feel the same way. Breakfast is my least favorite buffet meal for this reason.

Shoney's WAS the best breakfast buffet in my book for many years. Now I haven't even seen a Shoney's in many years.

On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

The answer is found in Jesus Christ who said "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

I would eat a buffet at every meal. I like variety.
