Fishing is really good this week. I'm finding fish shallow all over the lake. Water temps 61.5-72 today. Sunday was tougher with the wind but managed around 25 keepers all in 1-6' on orange/black and black/chart jigs.
Today we kept 50 and threw back another 15 keepers all on white/chart jigs in 1-8' water. Flooded willows and rocks are good places to start.
I will post some pictures tomorrow after my morning trip. Mostly males shallow but great quality. Lavon is putting out some great fish.

What he said! Managed 21 yesterday between 8 and noon. 19 were males, and some of them were pole benders. As always, thanks for the advice Jerry.

Two trips today. Caught 124 keepers on morning trip and 65 on afternoon trip. Same pattern.
Found more females today ready to bust. Tired, will load some pictures soon. Going to.bed and do it again tomorrow.

I actually hate this time of year. Yesterday there was a Crappie behind every twig and under every rock. Today, had 1 guy so it was going to be easy.. Not exactly. Kept 20 keepers and lost a few more and this hurricane made my mood even better  Hero to zero in 12 hours. Always tomorrow

I actually hate this time of year. Yesterday there was a Crappie behind every twig and under every rock. Today, had 1 guy so it was going to be easy.. Not exactly. Kept 20 keepers and lost a few more and this hurricane made my mood even better Hero to zero in 12 hours. Always tomorrow  Was the wind blowing over there Jerry?
