He is of the age of consent, her crime is that she is a teacher with(maybe) undue influence. Her life is ruined and she may be a registered sex offender the rest of her life and be lucky to get any job. Justice? From what I recall, if the other is a student (whether 17 or even a repeating idiot 22 year old), its illegal.

I just don't get why attractive female teachers do this. There are plenty of adults who would jump on that. It makes no sense. In today's younger culture, you're indirectly encouraged to pursue the forbidden. Not just student/teacher relationship, but things like infidelity and selfishness. Plus, lots of these female teachers have slim pickings when it comes to the males in their age frame. Not many gents for them. The things I've witnessed at the bars....

I just don't get why attractive female teachers do this. There are plenty of adults who would jump on that. It makes no sense. Control. A teenage boy getting to hit that will do anything she says. A dude her age would most likely do his own thing and she couldn't command him around. Are you kidding? I know countless men 20 heck even 30 plus years old that would wear a Scobey doo costume and bark like a dog to hit that.

If you have ever been around 30ish women and a pool of young 17ys you hear them talk like sailors.

I think this happens so much more now because cell phones and social media make contact so much easier. If a teacher wanted to get with me in high school she would have had to call on our one phone and probably talked to my parents. Agree; electronic communication has made some things easier for these predators. It has also made it easier for them to get caught. Young millennials are very social and have a different concept of what's private. In my day, there were probably nearly as many inappropriate female teacher/male student relationships; but you only told your best friend(s) about it ten years after the event(s) These days, millennials will put that news on insta/snap chat the same day. I do think there are more young 20 and 30 year olds teaching highschool. In our day, the youngest teacher in my highschool was probably in her mid 40s. Not sure if you know this, but millennials are this age group... "Millennials (also known as Generation Y) are the demographic cohort following Generation X. There are no precise dates for when this cohort starts or ends; demographers and researchers typically use the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years." Teaching is only a 4 year degree...so you could be 22 and start teaching.

or even younger... Heres how the 17-year-old is making it happen: She completed requirements for her associates degree this month from Eastfield College. She will graduate on June 2 with her high school diploma. In July, shell start a program through Texas Tech University that will allow her to obtain a bachelors degree and teacher certification in one year. Shell be turning 19 when she begins as a bilingual elementary teacher in August 2017. The only teacher in recent DISD history to begin that young turned 20 a month after starting work. young teacher

I went to Lockhart High for one year. She's hotter than any of the girls that were in school. Got out of there as fast as I could. That town is a hell hole. When are these stupid guys gonna learn, hit it, keep your phone clean and keep you damn mouth shut.
