I think this happens so much more now because cell phones and social media make contact so much easier. If a teacher wanted to get with me in high school she would have had to call on our one phone and probably talked to my parents.

In my day, there were probably nearly as many inappropriate female teacher/male student relationships; but you only told your best friend(s) about it ten years after the event(s) These days, millennials will put that news on insta/snap chat the same day.

I do think there are more young 20 and 30 year olds teaching highschool.

In our day, the youngest teacher in my highschool was probably in her mid 40s.

recently spoke with an ol high school bud. He starts telling about all the teachers that "put out" back in the day. (the day being 1980's) At first I was shocked, then mad. Why the H didn't I know this. I'd much rather Mrs. Jones been my first, and not the lil chunky girl that played 2nd chair French horn in the band.
