Big fish are biting in North Texas!

Gotta get my fishing buddy ready to go look for that 4 pounder again!! He made his case for 4 pounders solid again this year! He said that old guy! Mr Todds buddy just now caught a 3 pounder! I don't wanna wait that long so I'm gonna fish for 4 pounders! Less people fishing for them so they should be easier to catch! Why didn't I think of that??

Added this year is 4 mystery fish weights. CAT will draw three numbers from three containers that will represent a random weight. The fish closest to that weight without going over will win $250.
Also, the lightest LEGAL crappie will win $500. Make sure it's legal cause there might be a Game Warden present and any fish under sized will result in disqualification and maybe a ticket. Measure your fish carefully.

New location for the weigh in is Lake Fork Trophy Lures in Emory. Be in weigh in line by 2pm.

Registration Fri afternoon 5-6pm, and early Sat morning 6-7am, will be at the Minnow Bucket pavilion.

For all the CAT guys fishing this tournament, use this tournament as an opportunity to invite someone else to fish with you. Since this is an individual tournament it wont hurt to have 3 or 4 in the boat. The more anglers we have the more sponsorship dollars we will have for next years CrappieFest and it will also go a long way in making CAT a stronger organization. We have had tremendous growth year over year and this will continue with your help. I would love to see 350-400 at this years event and I don't think its to far out of reach. You will see some nice upgrades at this years weigh in that will make you proud of what CrappieFest/CAT has become.

Excellent point. I myself, will be fishing with a guy that doesn't get to fish much and he is driving down from Oklahoma to fish. ANY angler could win the slots or the grab bag fish and walk away a WINNER!!!

If anybody needs a backseat passenger or needs a bank fishing partner feel free to pm me I have no experience on the almighty fork but I can hang with the best off them on my home lake.
