Any good places for camping on beach with pop up camper anywhere around Corpus or surrounding area. I have always done beach camping around Port Bolivar east of Houston but have moved to San Antonio so would like to learn the CC area. Would like a place somewhat secluded that we can set up camper right on beach. Thanks in advance.

yes, there are some good places and some of'em are turning on right now big time.

With a camper, you can fish 24/7

Check out Port A. I saw lots of people camping on the beach down around beach access road 1A and south of there.

stay away from Port A if you want any type of privacy, the Padre Island National Seashore or PINS is where I would go. miles of beach, plenty isolated, Isolation can be a blessing or a curse f you get your truck stuck or have an emergency.
