Went last night....I caught two on jig/minnow in about 30 minutes before dark and then fished with minnows until midnight and only caught about 5 keepers. Caught about the same that were too small. I think the cool weather slowed things down again.

Jason, the creeks and the marina are slow, despite being covered up with folks. I only saw a couple of folks that caught some fish at crappie point. Talked to one of them that caught 8 or 10 between the marina and crappie point, but there were several of them to catch those fish. I found some stragglers at the creeks mostly in the am...but had to move out to staging areas to get on fish...never quite managed a limit any day but always managed a dozen or more...mostly in 7 -12 FOW...probably could have done better, but my transducer got taken by a stump, so I couldn't find any of Keith's BP's! Lol
The problem I noticed, the creeks were taking in fresh water, and around 54-55 degrees, the main lake was 60 degrees at the staging areas...fish seemed to be biting best in the early morning and late afternoon/evening hours. Hope this info helps, I will be staying at unit 42, Liberty Hill for the next four days...stop by, introduce yourself, and I will point you in the right direction, based on current situations.

Crapicat Thinking of taking the wife and kids in the morning. we are gonna be in a 21' pontoon boat. With downscan that I'm still struggling to learn. The only sure place that I know of is next to the rocks at the damn, but the last time out didn't do to well. Is there any chance you could share some of your knowledge would love to get these kids on a few. Any coordinates or tips would really be appreciated Joshua Stone
