Hello all! I'm usually an offshore guy but this summer I will be heading to Port A with my 12 year old daughter and her friend and would like to get them out on an inshore trip. My focus will be on getting these two young girls on the fish, not too concerned about myself. Recommendations for these young ladies would be greatly appreciated! Thanks to all.

It might not be the thing you are looking for. I took two of my boys (13 & 15) on a flounder gigging trip with https://nocturnalassault.com/ Both boys love rod and reel fishing, but also loved gigging. Might be something if you want to have a good time away from the heat. Captain James is quite good with kids. He will have one his right and one on his left spotting flounder for them saying "get it get it get it!" lol Like you I was more interested in the kids fishing, so I stood behind the 13 year old and gigged two from that position and missed a third. He expects some fish to get missed and doesn't get grumpy about it. He usually comes home with a limit, I really dont recommend most flounder guides as the norm is to come with much less than limit. Not that limits are the be all end all but it gets pretty boring for kids to go long periods of time with no action. I dont have experience with "Surrender at Sunrise" but I suspect he is good to and that boat is also set up well to run two people gigging.
Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

Surrender at Sunrise doesn't get any better. Grew up with him and he can find the flounder!!! If you only knew what we used to chase those flounder in!! Good times

I'll echo the sentiment on Capt. Dave with Surrender at Sunrise. The very first time I fished with him we actually didn't limit (13 out of 20), but I've now had at least six more trips over the last two years with him and the average time to limit for a group of three has been about two and a half hours hours. Even though we were short that first very first night, I knew it was the weather and not the man. We actually called it quits and though he didn't say anything, I could tell he wanted to keep fighting. Just a great guy and can really catch fish. He knows a million spots and is not afraid to move to find fish or the right water. Nice new boat too.

... I've heard good things about him.
Maybe one day he will event a lure for catching flounder (and trout n' reds) that will be sold coast to coast in Academy, etc...
I did.

I can tell you if you say to come in he will keep you out there! I think he takes it personal when the fish aren't cooperating!! haha
