Sorry for the craziness! My wife is freaking out. My Dad and I have a trip booked at Falcon on April 3rd. She read about the guy killed in Dec. and now on the river. I have a 2yr old son, and she is so mad that I am going because of danger. Please show her with some pics and stories that this is a safe place to go. Thank you in Advance!! You have no idea what this trip means to my father and me.

That's what I said, people killed every night, and I'm crazy for going fishing in open water where I can see 360deg around me. By the way, coastal bound within a year. This town has gone to Hell in a hand bag.

When is the last time you heard of a bass fishing guy getting killed in broad daylight? Just be off the water before dark. This shooting wasn't even on falcon. Me and some guys just pent a week down there. No issues.

You won't have any issues on falcon unless you do something stupid like beach your boat on the Mexican side and camp out. Zero issues down there with plenty of other fisherman on the water.

It's safer out there on the lake than it will be driving down there. There's more law enforcement presence on Falcon than any where I've been.

Just leaving the lake as we speak. Fished with a border patrol agent and he said there is absolutely nothing to worry about long story short.
