Anyone fishing the Sabine river this week
or any report. I fish last Saturday, and me and a buddy caught a limit in 2 hrs

Easy catching yesterday. I don't keep limits but had a lot more than that in less than two hours... all big females.

Meadowlark, were you fishing out of River Ridge? If it's hot now, I may need to hit it Saturday. No, on River Ridge. The end of the run is near cause the big females are about to pop, and in my experience once that happens they don't waste any time getting back down river. Good luck Saturday. I'd guess they will still be spawning but it won't last much longer in the area between Carthage and Logansport, IMO.

Went out yesterday and caught double limits, Meadowlark when I said We caught limit in two hours, that was a double limit, anyone can catch a limit on Sabine in quick time when the sandies are on, nothing to brag about.
