Remember the MLF where Ott Defoe pushed his boat into back waters? Of if you were watching bassmasters live during the final day of the Elites at the big O? Ott Defoe had a certain type of fiberglass push pole that he was using, do any of you guys know what kind of push pole that might be? who makes it? It looked like it telescoped out by twisting, I am pretty sure its not the superstick.
any help is appreciated
thanks in advance

I don't know about that but I noticed that BPS in Garland has some push poles in the marine section, sort of like the one that rolled out of my boat and sunk last fall.

There is a BPS branded telescoping pole. He is sponsored by them so it could be that one.

Ask the track coach at your local HS or college if they have any old, broken pole vault poles, they work really well, if you happen to get a hold of a girls poles they're lighter, course the big drawback is they're not collapsible, but they are very strong.

Here is what I have used in the past. PVC pipe. The good thing is it is very durable and does not dent bend crease like metal; two or three inch diameter. Glue a cap on each end or you can glue a t-fitting/with caps on the other end for more surface area. You can go with (2) 5 or 6 foot sections and used a PVC connector to connect them when needed. The advantage of this system is breaks down into two pieces to store in either rod locker of the boat.
