Had another fun day with some good people. The Elders came down from Panhandle,Texas today to try and catch a few cats. Started the day off with a 24 inch hybrid on cut bait then the blues decided it was time for breakfast!! Over two hundred pounds caught again today! Give me a shout to get your cat/hybrid trip this spring!

What depth are you fishing?
My dad and I put in a few weeks ago. Fished everything from 10 foot to 35 foot all on the west side of the lake to the bridge and we couldn't get a single bite on shad or on dough bait. Planning on going back out Saturday and try again.

Went to the Marina on Highland Village Rd with some home made "carp" dough bait. I was looking to catch a carp to use a cutbait for today's fishing trip. Ended up catching a 14 inch carp for bait and two channels about 4 pounds each. I release both cats as I wasn't prepared for them. Caught from bank in about 5-7 foot of water between 8-9 pm.
