I am taking my kids back to their mom next weekend, and I want to get them into a big mess of white Bass or tilapia.
Any recommendations on a place between Houston and Dallas?

3rd largest Lake in the State that few know about is Richland Chambers located between Dallas and Houston. 45,000 acres and a great White Bass Lake. Talapia are in Lake Fairfield and a couple of other Power Plant Lakes but no major Freshwater Lakes as they get too cold for them to survive.

Lake Limestone. Exit in Buffalo, head towards Jewett.
Put in at the Lake Limestone Campground and Marina, follow the power lines west. Veer towards the cove. Troll with a plain silver spoon. We used to catch our limit in a few hours.

Someone has to know a place some kids can catch some fish between Houston and Dallas?
Usually you can't get us fisherman to shutbup about fishing.lol
