Something doesn't seem right. I think possibly the man had a heart attack or other ailment. How would you drive the boat that far up onto the bank. Like Toxarch said they must have hit the bank at full speed. Hopefully they find him. One of the(unconfirmed) family members was posting comments under the Fox 4 story on Facebook. He indicated that the father was epileptic and might have suffered a seizure.

Sorry I apologize. Just dont make any sense.Didn't mean to be funny or disrespect. My prayers goes to the family. But it's just a mystery how a boat can land that far up on land and a person or persons can walk away unfound.

It's not hard if you think about it Bruce before making stupid comments. Guy probably had a seizure and leaned on the throttle...so happy the kid survived...tough little one! Pretty sure I have seen pics of you with your son Bruce...how would you feel if someone made that comment if the tables were turned?
I am guilty of this too in the past...typing before thinking. Happens far too much these days. In the case of an obvious tragedy, better to err on the side of caution and not try to make light out of someone's untimely apparent death. Especially when it happens in front of his son.

I didn't know the man missing but this has been in my thoughts a lot as I fish that creek plus I have little ones. It's heart breaking to think about. If anyone knows a way I can help the family please reach out or post here.

Just saw where they found the dad .In denton creek not far from his boat.
Johnny Confirmed by News reports the dad was deceased! Prayers up for family and friends. The Lord Jesus Christ has control!
