Anyone know where I can buy Bream or blu gill in the DFW area ?
Not looking for bulk purchase.. just a couple dozen at a time

You use to beable to get them at Fisherman Supply off of 30 near Lake Ray Hubbard. But the orignal owners shut the place down and now someone else is running a bait shop out of there. Not the same place by no means from what I hear. Sad that the original Fisherman Supply is gone  There is a wholesale bait place in Lewisville they may have some as well but they mainly have goldfish and big shiners on occasions

Don't buy them unless you absolutely want to. You probably can catch all you want to use for bait from any Community Fishing Lake or pond with a small (#10 or 12) hook and a piece of earthworm or red wiggler. If you want more, make you a perch trap no larger than 24" x 24" with throat openings no wider than 1" and 3" in length. Bait with bread and you'll have all the bait perch you need.

There are also a lot of traps sold on the net...do a google search on pinfish trap.

blue top minnow shop on roberts cutt-off in samson park. and right next door at olsens pro bait shop they are about medium size great for purtis creek.
