going this summer. First time. Any tips for a fishing guide? Or other things to do there?

Go about 45 minutes northeast to los barilles, stay at a place called rancho leonero, and fish with them. Sea of Cortez fishing is WAAAYYYYY better than that [censored] down at Cabo.

Redrum fishing charters Was pretty good, lots of good places to hang out and some good restaurants. We went and riding four wheelers one day, that was pretty cool.

Go down to the harbor and hire a smaller boat and catch the shnizzle out of Mahi...cheap and you will wreck them!
All kinds of good guides down there ready to take your big money!
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Book a dirt bike trip from Cabo San Lucas to Rancho Cabo Pulmo and back through the countryside, if I died after that trip my life would have been complete. Stunning beauty in the desert. Stayed at Villa De Los Arcos, a little bit of a sandy beach which was great, resort right at the bay. The town is safe all hours no issues.
I will be back. I'm never truly gone.....Last post by Brad RIP

Minerva's tackle shop. Go online and book your trip through them. Don't just go to docks and pick a "guide" you might catch a fish but most likely will get ripped off I go every year and learned the hard way many years ago. Seldom if ever hear a good story from the cheap hawkers at the docks.

Catching marlin is easy in Cabo. We hooked up 10 last trip. We always like to try to catch a Dorado or two and have a local cafe or our hotel cook fish for use. Many places will. They can tell you some places if your hotel won't. Also make sure you eat The Office on the beach for a meal. great place to eat.

We fished with Pisces last year. Awesome guys. Caught 3 marlin, 1 was pretty big but captain said it wasn't going to live if we released it. We took it back, got a piece to eat for dinner and gave the rest to all the Pisces boat captains and crew.

We just got back from another trip with "el buster" at Dock 3 in Cabo. Great guys and easy to communicate with. We have been out with them 9 different times and have had great trips. Last time out we caught 5 marlin in one day and still had time to catch as few dolphin. If you want, bring in some of your catch to the restaurant by the dock and he will cook it 5 different ways for 10.00 per person. A great highlight to a day on blue water.

Dillion is right on. Pisces is another great outfit in Cabo. We tuna fished with them a couple years ago for a day. First class operation like Minerva.
