At this point, i would think some of the crappie guys running side scan could be a huge asset. Just need someone who knows their equipment and someone how knows how to organize a search and lay out a grid and start checking them off the list one by one. I would think anyway. There's already been people offer to do this. The longer he's not found, the harder it's going to be on the family and friends. I'm praying this doesn't drag on like that young kid who was drowned in Ray Hubbard 50 yds off shore and they knew what area he was in. Took weeks to find him. That was before side scan had been invented.

I have run my side imaging from 377 to the crash site 4 times since Tuesday morning when I passed the boat at 7:45. The game wardens are also running Humminbird side imaging as well on there boats. The wood is pretty thick in some of those areas just down stream. The current was strong right at the area the boat was beached. Tuesday was a hard day for me as Matt had been talking with me and my customers as I cleaned fish and he got ready to head up the creek Monday afternoon. Broke my heart to know that little boy was near that boat on Tuesday morning somewhere and we didn't see or hear him. That extra hour until the game wardens arrived and he found them had to be a cold one in the woods all alone. It was so crazy that he wasn't seen on the FLIR systems of a Dallas PD helicopter or a drone on Monday night as they searched until 1:30 AM. I will continue to scan the creek up and down daily for the next few weeks. I have been and will continue to pray for him and his family.
