Anyone ever heard of someone being tall and skinny or short and fat? Don't be calling someone a liar or doubting anything. I can catch a 17" crappie at JP and he might be at 2lbs, yet a 17" at CC would easily over 3lbs. After all, he did say that he THINK it was, but didn't weigh it. Not all length & weigh proportion are the same. Too bad he didn't take time to find out.
Are there a bunch of jealous people who haven't seen a big crappie lately? For 3 straight trips over the last 2 weekends, I've caught limits of (50 for 2 people on a boat)= 150 big crappies. The last trip didn't have any 3#-er, but 12 of 50 were over 2#-er with the biggest at 2# 13oz.
No, I am not gonna have to post any photos either. anyone can call me a liar too while you are at it if you wish. Fishing is suppose to be fun...

Well here is a pic of the fish after it had been on ice for 10 hours. I wish I had a pic of it on the measuring board but it measured 16 3/8" without pinching the tail.

Yea, what slabmesilly said! Cain't go by measurements. Ratmo thought my 3.2 fish was 16 3/4", it was 16 1/4". We weighed it on Jerry Hancocks scales and it read 2lbs.14oz. On the day of the tourny he caught a male that weighed 2lbs. 13oz on his scales. On the official scales his fish weighed in at 3lbs. 1oz. So that's where we got the 3lbs.2oz. on mine. What is sad is that they trusted there scales the day before and Paul obier had a male that weighed the same as mine on jerry's scales. He fileted it trusting that those scales where good. Ratmo has already eat it as a matter of fact. My fish had been in the live well and had already died before it was weighed. So there is no doubt to me that 3lbs.2oz. is fair to state. Prolly on the light side after being carried around all day and dead.

The pic really doesn't do justice. Her eye there is just almost as big as a quarter.

Not really a crowd. I think sunday afternoon I counted 8 boats total from about 3-7PM. The crappie are really moving up to the flats and starting to spawn. Still finding a few pre-spawners but for the most part the big females are moving up.
