Don't let all those cars and trucks out there fool yall into thinking your going to whack them!! I have been there probably 8 times in the last 10 days. Out of the 40-50 people I see out there you will only see 3 or 4 actually catching any. I have done better than 90% of the people out there and that aint really saying much.
You can even be fishing shoulder to shoulder with some of those guys and they can be catching them and you wont even get a bite. Creek Sandies have a different mind set than when they are in open waters. They will leave you scratching your head at the end of the day.

They hitting on small lures. Smaller jigs, spinners, jerk baits, rattle traps. Don't come out there with a anything bigger than 2 inches expecting to catch....

Water was still pretty murky last night. Not a lot of action from what I saw of other anglers. Visibility was less than 6".

Went to far south of Miller bridge yesterday morning and not many bites. Did manage to get a 12-inch sand bass and a carp. The carp was smart enough to escape and jump back to the creek after picturing. LOL
