Lord, we come before you this morning as men not knowing what your will is in the life of this man, but fervently seek your guidance and direction for the rescue workers and the teams supporting them. We praise you this morning for allowing the child to be rescued and may your presence be felt by him as well as his mother and extended family. You are sovereign. You are good and Your will be done. We pray for comfort in this undecided time. We pray for strength, and most of all we pray for your Holy Spirit to surround all of those involved. Lord, if they do not know you, let them know you now. Was notified that the out board was in full throttle when it was found beached. But like above.. It just doesn't add up to me. It looks like it was pulled up. There is no harm what so ever to the ground behind the boat. I just cant wrap my brain around it.

I watched the live stream from Fox4 helicopter yesterday and I also noticed no marks on ground behind the boat. However, if the bank is soft enough, any marks left behind might have been obliterated by the overnight rains. I also noted that the boat motor was in the up position. Someone noted damage to the prop. Perhaps he hit something and beached the boat. If cell phone battery was dead, then there was no way to contact anyone for help.

Of course this is all just speculation and I'm hopeful the father is found safe, even if injured and/or incapacitated. Someone posting on FB, stating they were a close relative, said he was epileptic and might have had a seizure.
