The Head Smasher is a good 5" bait, but I actually catch more fish on the 7" Convict.

The trespasser is an awesome little line thru bait that will get bit just about anywhere with a little water clarity. He also makes a bait called the poacher that's fatter and has a little bit more of a thumping action than the trespasser. I recommend trying both and seeing which works best for you. Both have their time and place.

Ken, thanks for the interest. Jay is right on in his suggestions in the 5" range for a line thru. We also offer a 5" split belly called the Head Smasher, a solid body called the Smash Minnow and a ringed swimbait called the Smash Tail that can all be rigged weedless with a belly weighted hook. Be sure and catch the next episode of Honey Hole Saturday morning and you will see both the Poacher and Convict catch a lot of fish as well as some good swimbait tips. If you have any other questions feel free to contact us at smashtechbaits@gmail.com

Ken, I have been having some success lately using the Smash Tail bait on the Santone S3 hook. Been slow rolling it around some shallow vegetation for my bites. Me and my brother have also been having a blast using the Stroker bait also when big bass hunting. It is a really large bait and we haven't caught a fish on it yet but we are waiting for that monster to hit especially when we are fishing on Fork.
