Praying for the father!

Please keep us posted on the father. This story has made me sick the last two days and was so relieved to hear the little man was found safe!!!! Thank you lord!!!! Now may God be with the father, family and rescue teams to bring them all home safe! I have a 2yr old son as well and can't wait to get him out in the outdoors but this really struck a chord with me that you never truly know what could happen outdoors or out your front door for that matter. Lord please bring everyone home safe.

My son is also 2, and I couldn't imagine the terror this boy or any would have been alone last night with the cold and storms this morning. Pray the father is found soon. Hopefully they huddled up somewhere to sleep and the boy walked off and dad is nearby. More prayers and thanks for the boy being safe sent.

I'm really praying this works out. Anything can happen. It's a great sign the kiddo was found ok.

Keep up the hope, it would be way more difficult for a 2 yr old to make it through the night than a grown man.

This is a very odd story. Prayers that they find the dad and no damage to the little boy from being in the elements all night.

So glad they found the boy. Hoping they find the father alive soon. The news report said the little boy wasn't wearing a life jacket when they found him. I'm sure he would have had one on in the boat and doubt he would have taken it off himself on land. Maybe that's an indication that the father was at some point on land with him and took it off of him. I just can't imagine though how they would have become separated unless the father is in a really bad situation. I'll keep praying.

This is horrible news.... I fish this creek often in the spring- both on the bank and in my boat.

Us Crappie Guys with SIDE SCAN could be very helpful if the EMS folks are allowing it.

Looking at the pic Guac sent me, it appears from my eyes the boat was traveling relatively fast when it hit the bank. I'm guessing the Dad was ejected just seconds prior the boat hitting the bank. Looks like a point where you turn and maybe a floater or stump was there. Prop looks damaged to me from the pic.

It's hard to imagine a toddler climbing that bank.

It's hard to think a rear tiller would keep going with your hand off the throttle.

I hope I'm wrong, but I would bet he's less than 50 yards from the boat.

Such a tragic deal for the family and friends. But there is se good here. God was watching over this young mans son.
