Of course you wear DCs. Of course. I prefer Sketchers but they are very hard to find in my size even online. DC has all their styles in up to a 15 so... I lean that way more often. I hate to get rid of the pair I have bcs they look great... but their padding or what not is all but gone. Think they gotta go.

I throw them away. I have "outdoor" shoes/boots that I use, so once the tread starts going or my sneakers get a little ratty I just throw them away. Other than boots/casual shoes that see much less use, my sneakers usually get tossed every 6-8months.

It's hard to find a comfy shoes because one of my heels are pretty damaged. Drunken injury. Nike has been about the only brand I can wear and not really be in pain at the end of the day. I do wear Wolverine boots when the situation calls for it. But they get insoles. Still end up limping around after work.

I usually buy a new pair of sneaks once a year. The old pair becomes yard work shoes. The old yard work shoes get thrown away.

I always save my old shoes. They're good for fishing, or wading water when it rains. If they go to stinking, just run them through the warshing machine.
