You should call the TPWD fish hatchery in Athens, Texas. They should be able to tell you where you can get pure strain Floridas. The suppliers are going to try and sell you F1s. I know the TPWD partnered with the Mexican government to stock Lake Cuchillo, but that kind of turned out to be a bust.

lake huites You can get pure strain florida bass from Tyler Fish Farms near Tyler. Ask for Bob. They sell some pure strain florida bass from Alabama and Arkansas as well, but I don't know as to purity of strain with those.
